Professional care in the comfort and privacy of home.
With over 30 years of experience as a registered professional nurse and midwife, I now focus on private home-based care, so you or your loved one can be looked after in the comfort and privacy of home.
Cape Town based.
I provide professional private nursing support in the home for people recovering from illness or surgery, elderly people needing clinical support, and families who need a registered nurse to assist with their loved one’s care. I care for every client with dignity, sensitivity and respect, and I work to keep them as independent and comfortable as possible.

Trusted care, travel support and companionship for the elderly.
I, Joan, aged 83 years, had the opportunity to visit my daughter Theresa Prinsloo in Placencia, Belize, Central America. Very nervous about travelling so far, Sister Wendy Robertson accompanied me.
Not only did she quell my fear but made sure I had a wheelchair at every step of the way. Helped with my comfort on the plane also, being slightly deaf, explained what the air hostesses were saying to me.
My journey from Cape Town to Istanbul, Turkey. Then on to Bogota, Colombia for an hour, then to Panama where my daughter met us.
Was comfortable and relaxed all because I had a wonderful companion in Sister Wendy Robertson.
Joan, 83Client, travelled with Sister WendyWendy exceeded my brief by her excellent care, sensitivity and highly qualified experience, even at times taking Mom for outings to get her out of the house. In addition, Wendy brought her therapeutic dog along one day, with permission, which Mom enjoyed as she is an animal lover.
I would recommend Wendy to anyone.
JenniferDaughter of a clientWendy Robertson came to us through a friend when we were in need of someone in South Africa to pop in and check on my 83-year-old, very deaf, mother. We live in Central America and I have no siblings or children I could rely on to check up on her. As a registered nurse with a huge amount of empathy we thought Wendy might be able to fill the gap for us while we thought of a plan for my mother.

Wendy would check on my mother once a week, take her shopping, help with doctor’s visits, and generally make sure that she was well. Wendy, being a nurse could also see problems before they arose and would alert us to these and then take the necessary action.
My Mother is not an easy woman, she is loving and kind but lives in a world of deafness that makes her irritable and sometimes very grumpy. Wendy took all of this in her stride.
Eventually we made the decision to bring her to Central America to stay with us for her last years. Then the game was on! Wendy moved from carer/nurse to Travel agent’s assistant, Visa advisor, Health requirement checker and much more. She had to know Covid protocols and rulings in 3 different countries and gauge whether she thought my mother was capable of deplaning several times in 48 hours.
Well, Wendy did it all with great aplomb! From compression stockings, to medications for 6 months, and organising same from medical aids, in advance, scripts for Customs, making sure they would have telecommunications all the way, wheel chairs at airports and the myriad of things we take for granted when travelling alone.
My Mother arrived safe and sound and in surprisingly good spirits! All I can say is, THANK YOU to Wendy.
I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone in the same situation.
